I've found the BOS RCC staff to be quite good, and very flexible. They rebooked me on an earlier flight out of BOS when a snowstorm was predicted later in the day, in first too!^ They even protected me on AA since they thought I would miss my connection in ORD. The lady said "We won't get any money for this segment, but I'd rather you get in 3 hours earlier to see your girlfriend", after I explained I was only staying overnight before going onto SFO then SYD. She also said that I could come in and have a few drinks, since I was sort of on an international itin. ^ (I was staying 25 hours, before connecting to SYD) ^^

All up, always good experiences.
