If you attempt the normal CS form, you'll get into the UA customer service chain, and they are separate from the MileagePlus customer service system. Your issue is a MP issue, not a UA issue. This is one place where the two are separate, rather than joined at the hip as we might expect. That said, when I called last week, I spoke with a very capable and pleasant agent; it was one of the few times I did not select to be called for feedback, and I regret that.
