Funny anecdote, which i can divulge now that the old GM is gone..
Once i did not get my booked orginal room.
Me: "what's this nonsense?!"
Escaleted to GM.
GM: "a certain foreign dignitary has claimed your room"
Me: "i might have been in bed before with said foreign dignitaries, mention to them my name and that i'm staying and not moving".
Waiting....
Bit later with an astonished face back: " it seems your room has become available".

Yeah, HadesNL has a reputation of being the villeage bicycle, as everyone has had a go on it but it demonstrated to me that the hotel showed too much favouritism towards their ME/GCC clièntèle neglecting its other customers....
