Well I am none the wiser as to access rules.

Went to the Plaza Premium, I’m Silver, partner is Bronze, both in Group 2 Club World. They ask if we are together, and then take us to the Plaza First lounge.

I will say it was excellent. Attentive table service, a small buffet if you want, al a carte for others, decent selection of wines and liquors, and it’s so close to the boarding gate you can hear the boarding announcements so can maximise your time there.

Menus (as of 08/02/26):

I wasn’t very hungry so just got the tuna tataki - it tasted excellent. Really good quality restaurant food. The lighting was hard to capture it, but it all tasted wonderful together:

The lounge to pay to enter is $150/£81 so it would be on the higher end to enter but given Aspire’s top lounge in Newcastle is £68 I can say it’s worthy of that extra amount.

The regular lounge is $75/£40 so it’s half the cost. I don’t know what the upgrade price is, though I would assume around $75/£40.
