So my 10yr GGL run comes to an end in April. I will remain GfL. I have two QR flights upcoming and trying to work out what my strategy should be here when flying QR and when flying BA. Seems like the best option is
1. Book with BA number on QR to get seat selection (for economy legs) then change to QR to get Qpoints
2. Keep BA number for BA bookings as more seamless, potential for Opup, IRROPs etc.

Is that right? And is (1) actually worth it? I think all I get is the QPoints for upgrade assuming I make gold. No other real benefits that I don’t get with OWE. So deciding whether it’s worth the faff.
