Did you book through JAL directly? I booked through Expedia - might that be why?

In MMB, I get a warning: "Warning: Some functions are not available since this reservation was created by other airlines or travel agencies. Please contact the airline or travel agency where you have created your reservation for more details."

But I doubt Expedia will let me rebook to JL from London...
Yes, I booked directly and made the change on the website. Probably you will have to go through Expedia.
