I believe the test is whether the rate is coded by Marriott as commissionable. Some AAA rates and some senior rates are commissionable. Some are not.
Read the fare rules.
But your question is anyway academic because the chances of your Marriott stay actually posting to AAdvantage eshopping are slim, even on qualifying rates.
(And on those rare occasions when they do post, they do so like 5 months after the fact)
