Thank You for your question. As critical as I am on these boards I am also filled with gratitude of those that inspire us along the travel highway.
Daniel was a hands on kind of guy when it came time to take care of the guest. From the moment we first spoke I knew he had the Hyatt culture down to an art form.
He wasn't afraid to accept property failure but instead more frequently exceeded all expectations where you said to yourself I am proud and privileged to be a Hyatt Guest.

Decades ago I had that same level of respect for the late Alan Randle former Manchester GM who passed far to young @ 53.
Until Daniel came on board not many could compare to Alan @ The Manchester. This is a massive hotel with two huge towers and requires a lot of hands on daily multi tasking 24/7
I've heard Alans son is working at Hyatt Regency La Jolla and it would be an honor to meet him.

Back to your question after 30 some odd years with Hyatt Daniel went on to my understanding
to a position as President & CEO of the San Diego Tourism Authority.
We the World Of Hyatt guest lost a valuable Hyatt Ambassador who exemplified a Hyatt with the true culture of caring.Hope he is doing well
Thanks for the memories and hopefully in time we will have another Daniel, Alan or Monique (PH Vienna Fame) @ the Manchester helm
