You might want to stop indulging in wishful thinking :-).

Are you familiar with the altitude and summer temperature at Madrid? Back of the envelope calculation points to a takeoff thrust of about 85% of the thrust at 20 C and sea level. Plus, effect on range is larger than proportional. More or less consistent with a 25% drop in range in Madrid in summer.
