Wasn't CX one of the earliest to have 10-abreast 777 economy; and also had those weird shell seats that weren't comfortable in any sense of the word too?
I'm sure EK, AC and AF installed 3-4-3 on 777s well before CX does; CX started 10 abrest on 777s in the late 2010s, around the same time when a good number of airlines changed/reconfigured the 777s to 3-4-3 (alon the pace of BR, UA, NH, QR, BA and more)
in fact, all brand new CX 77Ws were delivered with 3-3-3 and reconfigured afterwards, some after only a few years
