Two flights yesterday in Club Europe.
GVA-LGW 1110 departure. No menu. Ploughman’s and vegetarian ploughman’s offered. Cabin crew kept referring to it as a ploughman’s salad, which with a single lettuce leaf on the plate, may be somewhat of a stretch.
Ploughman’s came with bread roll and dessert.

LGW-AGP 1445 departure.
ploughman’s again, but this time with scone and jam, and mini sweet tart type thing. Passenger next to me refused food as no suitable options without cheese. He complained to crew and asked for some bread, but the bread roll has been eliminated so they had nothing. Crew’s response was more or less “this is a short flight, what do you expect?”. While the ploughman’s meal was nice, I do think it would benefit from a bread roll, otherwise you’re left with a wedge of cheese and lake of branston pickle.

Service on both flights was good, with no shortage of drinks available, even on the 8 row LGW AGP sector.

Final thought is that there is no variety with the ploughmans. Are they going to mix it up month by month?
