It is not unreasonable to believe that the ones that are currently 15 years old and younger will stay around for quite another while and get the new product. B-LAJ would be the first one in that category. All of the others are between 18 and 25 years old and it seems that from that batch, only the ones that have received the refreshed 2-2-2 configuration will stick around in the medium term and the others will retire. So which frames have received the touch up then?
Cathay will install Aria Studios on 23 of the A330s built between 2010-2015, the new seat is based on Stelia Opera WB platform, the other 20 of them built between 2001-2007 will not be retrofitted.
