Called the number listed for reconsideration, which I’ve successfully called regarding prior applications. This time, after entering my SSN, I was told by a recorded voice that my application was in review or denied. No opportunity to speak to a human. A letter sent to my Chase account said I’d been denied for too many recent applications (two biz card applications about 4 months ago, both approved). I’d hoped to speak to a rep to close existing accounts or transfer credit.
Has anyone else encountered this? Any recourse?

Unfortunately there was still an issue where Chase said I don't have a history of making $10,000 payments on business credit cards. Actually I do with the Amex Business Platinum, but I guess that doesn't count. Oh well, it's on to the Citi Strata Elite and BofA Atmos Summit...

its clear chase changed its recon process tree due to huge influx of new generation apps after brand refresh. its CSR 2016 all over again prob from claudia schiffer and hailey bieber marketing.
the new attn and interest around the CSR has been a total joke. pple w/ zero experience getting the card then post on reddit how they plan to cancel the card due to regret. and pple suddenly becoming "travel influencers" who have no business talking about credits, pts, miles.
anyway, ur rejection is totally BS. i dont get it.
i know its been awhile but please share ur stats going in. new accnts + HP for x/6 x/12 6/24?
wat did the rejection letter say? u mentioned "too many recent applications". but u also said issue w/ $10k payments?
ur two recent biz apps should not count for 5/24. where they chase INK? ive also seen a few DPs about $10k payments. but that is an obscure rejection reason, and must be related to ur utilization of other chase biz cards.
