But why not come home a day early - there's availability on Thursday on the late flight to DUB. That's surely better than slumming it in LH Y (and transferring in FRA)!
Wife has never been to NYC (and I';ve only been once in 2002!) - cutting the length of the trip by 25% - when we very rarely get time away from the kids (or any childcare whatsoever other than the odd evening once every approx 3 months)....is too much of a sacrifice just to go business when will spend a good chunk of the return flight home asleep. Would cut a whole day and night of things we have planned,
The alternative via Lufty only gets us home 3 hours later than the planned connecting flight from DUB to MAN did so no big deal, most of that is an extra 90 mins in a lounge in FRA.
