Yes to both in this case (although I'm curious if they would entertain separate tickets!). I know the rules say we can get in, I'm more wondering if they might frown at an 8 hour layover. I wouldn't be worrying about a 4 or even 5 hour layover but 8 does feel almost rude, especially seeing as it's more of a restaurant than a traditional lounge!
