The IROPS support has been valuable (eg., being able to get through during Fern within a minute), however we are still handicapped by general AA limitations. For example, not being able to get a new flight ticketed by the CK desk when your flight is clearly delayed, yet there is no posted delay on the system. I also value the email as I use that often.
At the airport, they need to get more consistent with the check-in texts at certain stations so that you have someone to reach out to if things go sideways.!
Being able to use SWU when C isn’t available would be an unbeatable benefit but I’m not holding my breath. Even if they did two of those Joker style certs similar to what BA does it would be super valuable. Knowing AA it won’t happen.
Check in texts are far and few in between for me. At hub airports maybe 60 percent of the time. Most of the time when something goes sideways these agents aren’t even helpful and quote things I already know without being proactive.
There is real value in IRROPS but at this point I believe it’s the only actual benefit we get.
