I also wonder about it, but in the case of CX, maybe the lounge receptionist will just take the lounge invitation card and let the pax go? Maybe they don't check right away? I feel the tablet held by CX lounge receptionist simply scan what is on the barcode and won't actively refresh the information unless needed?
