The ability to delegate access is actually something that is a serious problem travel companies need to think about. I am managing all my wife’s loyalty accounts, and those that have 2FA will occasionally force a reauthentication via SMS or email. Which works for managing the account because I have put my own mobile number and a forwarding email into her account profiles. But occasionally the scheme fails when she is traveling solo and trying to pull up her itinerary or mobile boarding pass in the app on her phone, and it then sends me the code.
