My OWE expires on 3/31. I start travel on 3/31 with both connecting flights (in business) on Cathay, but I land in HKG at 12:05 AM on 4/1, and then connect on a flight at 1:25 PM. It will show OWE but you will become a pumpkin at midnight (depending on your program).
When I was MH Plat my status soft landed promptly at midnight. So I think if I 1) need Flounge access 2) get loaded into ISM’s iPad for greeting I will lose my entitlements if either of these events occur after 00:00.
