i fly Intra Texas or connect in DAL most of the time. So WN is my preferred option. Have been a RR member for more than 15 years.. occasionally fly AA if WNs timing's dont work. But AA flies AA eagle to the smaller Texas airports and they are plagued with delays or cancellations. Folks here complain about the pricing. You should check out last min fares from say LBB or MAF to DAL , a 1 hr flight for $350 plus one way. Yes one way. So a RT last minute ticket to DAL or dfw costs close to $800.. and then seating and baggage fees are extra. If you are not in a hub, the prices are very expensive. So if I'm paying 750 plus RT for 1 hr flights , well I want to sit in the best seats and board early! And the connections in DAL arel like 50 minutes, so if you are late boarding , you are sitting last row middle seat and gate checking your bag. You miss the connection, you are stuck in DAL for 4 hours for the next flight.
