Can anyone confirm how 'spend' at SLH properties works for attaining the new Diamond Reserve status?

I understand that you can only earn points for "room rate only" at SLH properties and it will count as a "stay" but additional spending such as food and beverage, parking, spa do not earn additional points.

Will eligible folio charges (beyond room rate) count toward your $18,000 spend required for the new Reserve status?

I did call the Hilton Honors help desk and was told they couldn't find clarification on is point and asked me to send my question via email to Hilton Honors. I'm awaiting their response, just thought someone here might be able to give be an answer quicker.
