Exactly. My understanding is this is a push to make Saver tickets check their bag unless they pay, so it generates revenue while seeming like an upgrade. The overhead bins will only fit half the number of bags anyways because they will have to be sideways, but this won’t be an issue as it’s so easy to put them in the hold.
