I am leaning toward not getting this card because I normally use my rent spend for signup bonuses, and I am concerned that Bilt may change terms and/or their Bilt cash partners in the future.
However, I did decide to go through the application process, uploaded my ID, and was told I would be contacted by a specialist to complete the application process. CREDIT IS 800+ but I've seen threads on Reddit where others are also waiting for specialists to contact them.

I routinely use Lyft, Grubhub, and occasionally go to Walgreens, but my property management company is not part of Bilt, and if I want to use a credit card, I can pay a 3% fee, $9.99 with a debit card, or $0.00 with a bank transfer.

I'm also going to wait to see if Cardless allows product changes, as I typically don't like to open and close accounts. I would rather open an account and then product change to a no-annual fee option, keeping the credit line and history/

Question:

If I apply for the Bilt Palladium, could I potentially just charge my $1000 rent, using the Bilt credit card, through my property management's independent web portal, and just pay the 3% ($30.00) fee? $1030.00 total.

Would I potentially earn 2000 Bilt points on the spend, plus 4% ($40.00) Bilt cash that I could redeem for Lyft, Grubhub, and Walgreens? When I was filling out the credit application, before I uploaded my ID, and was advised to wait for a specialist, I put my rent at $1.00.
