I had no idea that this was a thing on some of BA's A20Ns, I haven't flown on many (only TTND/I alongside some A21N) and those are the older ones with the bong after the gear goes down.
This bong typically means that the exit lights are armed, so I do wonder if the exit lights are armed when the flaps go down on these particular aircraft?

I am pretty sure they do as well. Effectively it's the same actions as normal, it's just that the trigger seems to have been changed on this small batch of 6 or so 320neos. no idea whether this was an airbus implemented thing or BA asked for it. The obvious problem is cc are usually not aware, and all of a sudden they hear a bong when securing thinking the gear has come down when in reality we are still at 4000ft.
