NRT to Nikko / Chuzenji-ko rail connections...

Good day, all,

Later this year (late October) we'll be using some award miles to fly into / out of NRT (to celebrate our 40th anniversary of meeting - I am from Mexico originally, Lady JDiver from Connecticut USA - at Enoshima (!) Japan. We also enjoyed a wonderful trip to Nikko...

So we're intending to arrive NRT, overnight and proceed to Nikko via rail, and stay three days or so (I recall hearing there's a pass one can buy that includes transport on the private rail line and entry to some of the sites?)

We'll probably rail from Nikko into Tokyo and stay at the Hilton - Shinjuku (award) and add at least a day trip to visit the great Daibutsu and environs at Kamakura, visit Enoshima and take the Enoden tram line.

Your advice on NRT - Nikko would be most welcome - I think I recall Ueno is the origin of the Nikko private line? And if you have any recommendations for a place to stay in Nikko, so much the better... TIA for your expertise and suggestions!
