Maybe I am barking up the wrong tree but I am slightly concerned about the sign-up page. I haven't created an account yet because of privacy concerns.
The first (compulsory) checkbox: "I agree to receive text and email messages from AeroLOPA Ltd for the purposes of securing my account" - okay, so this would be to do with 2FA, so I get it.
The second: "By registering, I agree to receive SMS notifications from AeroLOPA Ltd. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for help and STOP to unsubscribe." seems more ominous. What are the SMS notifications for? If its also for 2FA then surely this is covered by the first checkbox? If it's for marketing then surely this is illegal, not allowing users to opt out of marketing emails and texts. I can't think why else Aerolopa would want to send SMS texts, but it does seem strange to use SMS for marketing in 2026. Also, "message and data rates may apply", I know this is probably a standard phrase, but it does seem to give the implication that I am signing up to some premium-rate SMS newsletter that's buried away in the T&Cs.
Sorry if I sound like a grumpy old git but this has put me off a bit - along with the horizontal scrolling which I know other users above have complained about. I hope that someone at Aerolopa can put my mind at ease.
