CLEAR @SAN T1 remains slower than Pre, to where I've given up on it.

- CLEAR w/Pre procedure: join a short line, show your phone then stare at the screen, then move forward (likely joining another line). That one dedicated CLEAR TDC is also handling non-CLEAR Pre pax so you alternate with them, then (provided the CLEAR employee's phone is working and is read, sometimes takes a try or two) show your face again at the TDC

- Pre procedure: join a much longer line (which has 2-3 TDCs so moves much faster), present phone to reader, scan your face

Maybe they'll eventually get the enhanced CLEAR gate (and I think it's interesting LGB has it, but not the brand new SAN T1), but as with many of you guys were AmEx not paying for it, I sure wouldn't.
