This is the menu from early February. Plenty of similarities to January as you’d expect although the Salted caramel and chocolate tart on the menu is now missing the tart. Not sure if it’s a typo as I wouldn’t call what I had a tart - it was more like a mousse texture although it looks the same as last month so probably just poor proofreading. I passed on breakfast but thought I’d try the Welsh Rarebit which the crew had never actually served previously.
Amuse - nothing special
Very much enjoyed the lobster
Halibut moist and tasty
Chocolate (tart) all the better for coming with some ice cream
Welsh rarebit - not bad at all . The Cumberland sauce was I thought like Branston pickle.
A nice friendly and efficient crew - not over the top but around when you wanted something.
The welsh rarebit looks great, must grab that next time!
