I was holding off selecting my 85k award because figuring out my travel for the year. It said "select by 2/2/26." Silly me thinking that means I could select on 2/2/26. When I went to pick it today, it was gone. Called customer service and they did indicate that as long as my award choices were the EQMs, the RDMs or the upgrade certificates (I wanted 15k RDM and 10k EQM), it won't be a problem, so I gave my selection and they told me the award should post in a few days. But that is bad wording on their part. If my last day to chose was 2/1/26, it should've said "select by 2/1/26" or better yet, "select no later than 2/1/26."

So just know the deadline is actually the day before it tells you.

That said kudos to Alaska - it took less than 15 minutes to handle on the phone and was absolutely hassle free process (or well, at least so far, let's wait for the miles to post...).
