Yeah, that's the reason why south of Male are more and more man-made islands which are accessible via speedboat transfer like Saii, Hilton Amingiri, WA Maldives and soon Atlantis The Royal Maldives. All reachable within 30-45min speedboat transfer, so it is a little bit more stress compared to a taxi "downtown" - but also more experience

The different kind of restaurants // foods outside hotel area - good point but not so easy with little kids.
But that would not be a plus for WA Los Cabos compared to other hotels in this area.
