Ergo, anything that in any way reduces or eliminates the lounge lines is a huge plus for me and incentive to keep the card for another year despite the coupon hassle.
I mean I think you’re flat out wrong. $895 for the coupons is a good trade if you are someone who utilizes the coupons. That doesn’t assuage your feelings towards lounge crowding, but the card provides tons of value to the right person.
Personally, if lounge access were that important to me I’d just get a lounge membership to my preferred airline.
