You're not alone. I too am a US Citizen and saw this ("Lawful Permanent Resident") recently in the Android Global Entry app. It did make me log in to TTS to make sure my passport was still linked to my GE profile, but otherwise I could not see a way to fix this. I agree this is some kind of Android app error and I too submitted a feedback report.

Yesterday I was on a personal trip with my family. I could've pulled my work phone but I also decided maybe it's time to set this up on my personal phone (Android). As I added myself and my wife, both our "Legal Status" showed up as "Lawful Permanent Residents." What? We're both citizens. I added my daughter and she showed up as US Citizen.
I'm curious if anyone's seen this recently, but I'm generally chalking this up to general Android app development neglect by most developers including the US Govt.

My guess is Android app somehow is displaying the data it pulls from CBP wrong. Who knows why - I'd report it on whatever feedback button there is.
