ZRH - FRA normally arriving at A gate (if you are on LX or LH metal), a few occasions a remote stand, if you’re on EN (Air Dolomiti) metal, it’s almost certain you’ll be at the far remote stand. If you arrived at remote stand they will bring you back to arrival A by bus. Make sure you don’t go to baggage claim, but stay insdie air-side. Flights departing to USA from FRA almost always leaves at Z gate (with a few exceptions) and Z gates are just right above A gates. Follow the sign to Z gates it will lead you to passport control. Both A and Z gates are at T1. There is no security recheck as mentioned.
However since OP is departing to US, there is that faux security check around the gate area before boarding. Sometimes there can be a line, but usually minimal wait.
Also if you do misconnect due to LH reasons (delay, etc.), LH might rebook you via a 1 stop to your destination via a United hub and your connecting leg would be on UA. And of course then you’ll have the EU261 to help as well. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Hopefully it all goes swimmingly.
