But I had a coworker with me who was not in D1 so with all the changes to the time we wanted to be together and where hanging by the gate as they of course didn’t change the time until the previous time had passed. So an endless cycle I also wanted to hear the announcements the gate agent was making for detailed status.
If you couldn't leave the gate area, how could you have gone anywhere to use a meal voucher?
I agree with the frustration regarding the way Delta slow-rolls delay notifications/accurate boarding/departure information; however, that complaint might be better in the Hall of Rants.
