Hi,

The Cathay pacific lounge at HND does close early ( 5pm as the last Cathay flight leaves at 4pm). Not sure when your AA flight to JFK departs
I had a quick visit to the Skyview lounge a few months ago and it was nor bad ( it had some good pancakes/waffles even at 5pm). I think the skyview lounge is a bit better than the Sakura lounge

There is also the newish Amex Centurion lounge if you have the appropriate Amex card
