We recently visited the new Vietnam Airlines Lotus Lounge in Hanoi. It opened 2 weeks ago and it is definitely an upgrade to the old lounge. It is located a few meters after the old lounge. I loved the modern design and the food offering was very good with a noodle station although still not on par with say SQ or CX in my opinion. There are 5 sleep boxes although they were not ready yet when I asked if I could have a look at them. The bar only serves wine and a few spirits, no cocktails. There are 2 showers. Sadly, the new location means the tarmac views are now replaced by the parking area views. To the left of the reception is a smaller lounge reserved for Million Milers. Overall, a very nice lounge.
