I mentioned it to the crew member who confidently told me that they had never been offered, and I must be thinking of a meal a long time ago.
Tosh! Band 3 did have the starter ( I don't recall side salads per se) but not the cheese. That was for Band 4 (unless my memory fails me (which is not impossible))). I suspect that as has been said, that they had not operated one for some time.
