I think I may be on some sort of record - I have a claim from May 2025 outstanding for a BA flight, AA coded, from SEA-LHR. There are a large number of additional flights that simply have not credited either, so in total MH owes me something in the region of 45 points. Frankly, I'm having a job keeping up with where everything is, and I'm pretty fed up with being told "just be patient".

MrsNWI has the same issue, and every call to MH just results in a different set of instructions and another "this will take 6-8 weeks". Last time she told them she'd already been waiting months and that at least seemed to get things moving. They also want you to jump through hoops that no other airline requires - for example, she had to get confirmation from BA that the flights hadn't credited to her BAC account. The BA Gold Line simply couldn't understand why MH didn't just contact them direct.

The issue, as far as I can make out, is that codeshares are simply not recognised and have to be retroclaimed - with the exception of a single IB flight anything that's been ticketed, coded and operated by the airline has worked automatically. Unfortunately that's only about 60% of my flights ...

MH has been a oneworld member for a very long while. They really should have better systems in place by now, and a much better understanding of how codeshares work.

Fortunately, this morning they gave me a complimentary upgrade to Platinum for being close to the qualification anyway, so that's taken a lot of the pressure off. Still incredibly frustrating airline to deal with, though.
