EDQ aren't the "base currency". There's actually a thing called "base points", which should be directly linked to spend, and are what appear to drive everything else - SQC, elite bonus points, etc.

So why would you look at EDQ? There are already people upthread who've posted about correct base points with incorrect EDQ. Unless you're qualifying for status through EDQ, it seems like a waste of time to even look at it.
