I'm contemplating a stay at Westin Hapuna Beach Resort this summer using a mix of points + paid stay. I am hoping the paid stays can be done using the Luminous rate.
It's probably not realistic to expect to be able to keep the same (upgraded) room, but of course, I wouldn't mind. I am only a lowly Gold.
Looking at Classic Travel the Rate plan description says:
Am I reading this right? I will have $50 resort credit per stay to use on this resort in addition to getting comp breakfast?
The rate is lower than what I would book on Marriott site directly. What's the catch? This sounds too good to be true
It does say this under Total:
Maybe the total I was quoted on the site is not the final total. If so, how can I find out what the final total is?
Thank you.
There’s often a misconception that Marriott STARS and Luminous rates are more expensive. That’s clearly not the case with The Westin Hapuna Beach. Your understanding is correct - you would receive a one-time US$50 credit and daily breakfast. Final rate including taxes should display before booking.
