Funny timing because UA just teased their first premium transcon A321neo today- they’re supposed to be getting 40 of them (and these 40 won’t be used for thin transatlantic flights- they have a separate XLR order for that).
Looks like they’ll be calling them “Coastliners”. Is it just me or has AA really fallen behind both DL and UA when it comes to branding? (And I can’t help but point out that “liner” was actually branding the old AA had on their fleet, like the DC-10 LuxuryLiners)
This is really nice. Taking AA's A321T playbook, iterating on the LOPA, and adding good, distinctive branding. AA had the foundation to have done this years ago.
