LAX to Tokyo is always going to be flagship since it's long haul J. You'll have access to the LAX flagship lounge as well as the One World Lounge at TBIT. You can preselect your meal on that flight, and if you're into Japanese food/seafood/being adventurous, I would definitely recommend the Japanese Washoku Set menu as it's catered by partnership with Japan Airlines and is usually very good.
