Am familiar with both neighborhoods. Prefer Condessa, but don't really mind Polanco.
Hey there - I have stayed in suites at both several times, including at the Andaz with several family members staying in different suites, so I have also seen multiple layouts of the standard suite (ie, one has a balcony right behind the Wooftop surrounded by trees, while others are "city view" with no balcony). The standard suites at the HR will always, always be more spacious, comfortable, and more logically laid out. The massive pink columns built into the Andaz makes everything inconvenient. That said, the location of the Andaz is the reasaon we always choose the Andaz over the HR. Condesa and it's proximity to Roma Norte beats out Polanco and long Ubers to Condesa/Roma Norte any day for me. The new-ish (okay, over a year old) buffet at Andaz helps bump it up as well (when I first stayed at the Andaz, Globalists had an extremely limited menu in the Macha cafe to choose from, but that's a thing of the past thankfully).
