OK, my husband was able to create an account, log in, and be able to add a subscription (which I told him not to try until Sun or Mon since the passes are calendar month. He used one of the online codice fiscale calculators. (he had done the same thing the first couple times but I think the calculator gave him a different number than the one he created on his own using the posted criteria; I'm not sure - the steps he took don't seem to be the same I'm trying to do)

I created an account on their website, it was confirmed etc. I downloaded the app and tried to log in and it stalled. Repeatedly. I've closed & reopened, uninstalled and reinstalled, and given up for the moment. What a freaking pain in the butt. (and the reviews in the app store agree - 2.5/5 stars, lots of problems using app....)

Maybe by the time I get to Milan, it'll actually work....
