Hi Everyone,

So I was just checking if anything better had come up for a forthcoming stay in NYC and just saw, with some surprise, that the website shows the Hard Rock Hotel NYC as managed by Accor. I was never aware this was an Accor option in the Big Apple.

I am thus full of questions - has anyone stayed there? Is it good? Do you get full accor points and benefits? The location seems good and if I hear good thing I could be tempted to choose this instead of the Sofitel. Now full disclosure, I'm one of the very few people on this forum who seems to have always had reasonably good experiences at the Sofitel, but I know so many people have had bad ones that I am always fearful when I stay there.

Anyway, I can't find any information on this one at all which I find bewildering so awaiting with baited breath and hoping for some positives...
