I dont have much knowledge about thesse things i asked about it for someone who gave me this answer which i was posting down there
Airports publish MCTs by operating carrier combinations (and by domestic/international, terminal, etc.), and Delta applies those same rules internally when validating itineraries.
So yes — for connection rules and legality, it’s the operating carrier that counts, not the marketing carrier.
