I would simply tell them “When I booked the trip, the connection was X. I have some mobility issues so this new connection of 31 minutes is not reasonable for me.” And then tell them the new flights you want instead.
They really have no basis to give you a hard time on this one; it’s an involuntary schedule change.
Applicable D/I MCT here on 23-Mar-26 is 0h30, so this connection is legal.
You can certainly try to ask, but non-US carriers are significantly less amenable to ignoring the rules just because you ask nicely. If DL ticketed, I would think you have a much better shot.
