Hi everyone - first time visitor to LAX in a couple of weeks, transferring on to SFO. Am flying LHR-LAX on BA arriving into TBIT, then LAX-SFO on AS from T6 on a separate ticket - have 3hr 40 between flights.

Reading the last couple of pages, am I right in saying that my incoming flight will spit me out landside, but because the secure airside tunnel is closed, instead of doing TSA again in TBIT I should just follow the airside walk to T6 and do TSA screening there? I have GE and will be hand baggage only, but it's Super Bowl weekend, so suspect it will be busy.
