Tipping at high end resort

Hi there, currently staying at Raiwasa private resort in Fiji and need some advice on what you think is the right path forward in regards to tipping.

Some context - I am Australian and don't really understand tipping culture, my opinion is that the resort's should simply pay people the correct wage and as a guest me paying for the room should be going towards that.

I received an email today explaining the tipping procedure to me and I feel kind of frustrated by it and feel although the resort is trying to emotionally manipulate me.

The resort has been amazing, the service at an incredibly high standard and everyone is lovely so if they are expecting something from the guests then I feel I should do something. For what it's worth this is a points redemption.

Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advanced!
