Hello, I am flying SYD --> LAX. I am premier platinum status. I booked my flight 70 days in advance (including putting in for an upgrade). Put in for upgrade using miles and $$ for both Premium Plus Cabin and Polaris. Flight is early April.

I usually fly Denver to Europe so I am familiar with how those upgrades work. But curious odds of the Australian segment and if there is possibility I'd be cleared off the waitlist well in advance of my flight or if it usually comes down to last minute (like EU segments).
